What we measured
Why this score?
TOZO is a legitimate, established budget-electronics brand rather than a scam, but you should exercise caution when buying directly from their website. While their products are generally considered good value for the price, the company is widely criticized for poor customer service and unreliable warranty support. If you decide to purchase their products, it is highly recommended to do so through a major retailer like Amazon, where you can benefit from easier returns and better consumer protections, rather than relying on the brand's direct support process.
Pros
- Very affordable pricing for earbuds and smartwatches.
- Wide range of budget-friendly electronics.
- Generally well-regarded for sound quality relative to their low price point.
Cons
- Direct customer service is frequently reported as unresponsive, unhelpful, or difficult to reach.
- Warranty claims are often denied or ignored, with many complaints remaining unresolved.
- Product quality can be inconsistent, with reports of connectivity issues and overstated technical specifications.
- Documented reports of unresponsive or poor direct customer service.
- Numerous complaints regarding difficult or denied warranty claims.
- Independent testing has indicated that some product specifications, such as battery life, are overstated.
Better options
Why switch: Buying through Amazon provides a much safer and more reliable return and refund process compared to dealing with the brand's direct customer service, which is frequently reported as unresponsive or difficult to work with.
