Based in England, Male Call participated in numerous strategic bombing missions over Nazi-occupied Europe, targeting enemy infrastructure, supply depots, and military installations. The aircraft's distinctive nose art, featuring a pin-up girl from the Male Call comic strip by Milton Caniff, made it one of the most recognizable B-24s in the unit.
