The REI Quarter Dome 2 is a discontinued backpacking tent that was widely regarded as a solid, versatile, and well-designed option for 3-season camping. While many users praised its balance of features, weight, and price, it is no longer available as a new product, and some users reported concerns regarding durability and inconsistent warranty support. If you are considering a used one, note that it requires careful handling due to thin fabrics and you will likely need to bring extra stakes for a secure pitch.
